Harold Camping, the California preacher who foretold the world will end on May 21st, appeared on Monday evening and apologized for not having the dates “worked out as accurately as I could have.” He revised his apocalyptic prophecy, saying he was off by five months and the Earth actually will be obliterated on Oct. 21.
He explained that May 21 had instead been a “spiritual” Judgment Day which places the entire world under Christ’s judgment, he said.
“We’ve always said May 21 was the day, but we didn’t understand altogether the spiritual meaning,” he said.
“I’ve been mocked and scoffed and cursed at and I’ve been through a lot with this lighted sign on top of my car,” said Jeff Hopkins, 52, a former television producer in Great River, NY.
“I was doing what I’ve been instructed to do through the Bible, but now I’ve been stymied. It’s like getting slapped in the face.”
Camping washed his hands about telling their members what to do with their belongings.
“We’re not in the business of financial advice,” Camping said.
But Camping isn’t going to give away all his possessions before Oct 21.
“I still have to live in a house, I still have to drive a car,” he said. “What would be the value of that? If it is Judgment Day why would I give it away?"

Wearing Sunglasses Indoors or at Night Time
often see people who wears sunglasses indoors, most of the time inside malls and some still wear their sunglasses even at night. Heck, I even saw several people wear their sunglasses even when it's raining!
They may be wearing sunglasses indoors or at night time because they genuinely think that they look cool. Wrong. Here are some things wearing sunglasses indoors or at night time says about them:
1. They are trying waaaay too hard to look cool.
2. They have sore eyes.
3. They fail to have any imagination when it comes to what looks good in public.
4. They follow the trends because their friends are doing it or they saw some rapper on MTV wearing glasses indoors and they think it's cool.
5. They are stupid and forgot to take them off.
So, when you see someone wearing sunglasses indoors, if you have time, try to follow them and they might end up just like this guy.
Harold Camping: "I'm Looking for Answers."
Many people woke up on the 22nd of May to find that everything was still in place, Jesus Christ didn't return, the West Coast of the United States is still intact, no worldwide earthquake happened. What was predicted was a no-show.
Avid followers of Harold Camping were also probably scratching theirs heads wondering why nothing happened on May 21st and what to do now that they don't have jobs, they don't have savings and some don't even have their own homes because of their efforts to support Camping financially to spread the word.
"With maxed-out credit cards and a growing mountain of bills, the rapture would have been a relief," says Keith Bauer, a 38-year-old tractor trailer driver, took a road trip with his family to see the Grand Canyon before the world ended.
"I do not understand why ...," says Robert Fitzpatrick, who spent $140,000 of his life savings to advertise the Rapture in New York, said he was dumbfounded when life went on as usual Saturday. "I do not understand why nothing has happened."
"I do not understand why ...," says Robert Fitzpatrick, who spent $140,000 of his life savings to advertise the Rapture in New York, said he was dumbfounded when life went on as usual Saturday. "I do not understand why nothing has happened."
Camping appeared outside his compound on Oakland roughly 18 hours after he predicted the End will come. "I'm looking for answers," Camping said, "But now I have nothing else to say." "Ill be back to work on Monday and will say more then." he added.
Many will surely be waiting for what he has to say.
"He's in big trouble with God." says Jacky Alnor, a Hayward resident. "It's given people who hate Christianity an excuse to hate it even more," she said. People can just paint with broad brush strokes."

Meet Pedro!
Meet Pedro, an unknown breed of dog that we found on the sidewalk last January of this year. We've asked people around and they've said that he was abandoned by someone. With no one to take care of him, he was also giving us the "take me with you" face, and with his current condition, we decided to take him home.
He was a bit smelly and he constantly tried to give me a kiss while carrying him. I knew at that time that he was very happy. Happy that he'll have a home, happy he'll have a friend to take care of him.
I took him to a veterinarian the next morning to have him vaccinated and de-wormed and to ask for his medication so that he'll regain his fur back.
Fast forward 4 months and this is what he now looks like..
We named him Pedro since we found him near Sr. Pedro, a roast chicken station.
This isn't the first time that we have helped a stray dog. We usually just give them something to eat, like a piece of bread, since we can't always take them home. If only we have lots of money, many dogs and cats will be very happy since they will have many food to eat.
Pedro is not the only stray dog that we have helped, we have given countless dogs, most of them are abandoned puppies, a home. But of course, we are not able to rescue dogs and puppies all the time because we don't have much money to feed them.
Our rescued dogs are living inside the house but we let them roam around outside the house just to see if they will leave after they have become healthy but they don't they instead play around near the house and stand guard.
What I find amazing about rescued dogs are they seem to recognise individuals are who likes to do physical harm to other dogs. They either stay away from that person or bark on them.
Right now, Pedro is living a great life and is very much loved like all the dogs we have in the house.
Is May 21st the End of the World?
May 21st is getting closer and many people have left their day job and some have left their family to go with a group of people spreading the word that May 21st is the Rapture, Judgement Day, the day that Jesus Christ will come back to earth, that's according to Harold Camping, a Christian radio broadcaster and president of Family Radio based California. And to make it more accurate, a great earthquake will happen at exactly 6pm Pacific Time.
To make things scarier, God will completely destroy the world 5 months later, that's October 21, 2011. Camping claims that around 200 million people will be raptured and the rest will be doomed come October 21st of 2011.
While Camping has been popular about his May 21st prediction, he is also the same person who predicted that the world would end on September of 1994. And 17 years later, the world is still intact. In an interview, he was asked how certain he is that the end is going to be the 21st of May since his September 1994 prediction did not come true, he responded that his research at that was not yet complete and he has a feeling that the end will happen on 2011. "I thought that at the time that there was a possibility it might be 1994, and so I wrote a book, 1994?, but I put a big question mark after it." says Camping.
"When the clock says about 6 p.m., there's going to be this tremendous earthquake that's going to make the last earthquake in Japan seem like nothing in comparison." Camping added.
There has been many people who predicted that the world will end before and all of them end up saying there was a "miscalculation" or "misinterpretation" and will set another date for the Apocalypse. And we can certainly expect that to happen.
"It's going to happen. It's going to happen. I don't even think about those kinds of issues. The Bible is not - God is not playing games. I don't even wnat to think about that question at all. It is going to happen."
Of course we really need to hear his answer to what if May 22nd comes and nothing happened.
"I'm not even thinking about that at all. It. Is. Going. To. Happen."
Oh, I think he should start thinking just about now since many people will be waiting for his explanation on the 22nd of May why the world did not end.

Moon Watching
We were at our spot, Mojack, Suwang and I were sipping ice cold Coca Cola while looking at the moon and talking about the "end of the world" on May 21st of 2011.
Well, ain't that scary?
Nah. Not for us. We don't believe on those "predictions" because the end of the world has been predicted so many times and those days came and the world didn't end. Especially on this particular prediction, I'd bet there's going to be a lot of embarrassed idiots on May 22nd.
These predictions came from some religious sectors (which I'm pretty darn sure are not Catholics) the same people who often stand on the sidewalks preaching while their minions are asking for some "charity". It's amazing how those religious leaders are able to make those people do while they bask on the money that are being earned. What a shame.
While sitting and enjoying our Coke, I grabbed my camera, a Nikon L120 digital camera, and zoomed the lens to it's maximum to take a picture of the moon.
The pictures below are for a whole week.
What a beautiful site to see. We can clearly see the craters in some of the photos. We love moon watching while taking about crazy things. We used to have a binocular at hand before but the magnification was not that good and we're not able to see the moons face.
